It was the day of immense learning when Dr. Sanjay Muthal (MD, RGF, Management Search) visited the Lucknow campus of School of Management Sciences. He opened by talking about the college itself “if intentions are good then the forces of nature also help to achieve
them”. He further emphasized the importance of faculty by saying that “future of India walks into your campuses and so faculty has to make positive impact”. Dr. Muthal also discussed the paradigm shift of economy from mixed to market economy making consumers as kings and leaving no choices to the companies. So the metamorphosis of
two factors viz., quality and cost synthesize and develop market economy.
He also pressed the deviance in the mind set of faculty and student. The faculty has a scarce mindset and student have abundance mindset. This variance is to be removed by the teacher by continuously unlearning and
relearning. He also suggested the faculties to act as enablers and not as power centers. They need to hone the skillset of student at entry and deliver an enhanced version of skillste. At winding up he stated, “Cultures change, make its cognizance as faculties are honing future of futures”.
