The ongoing exchange program between Claflin University and India's School of Management Sciences brought two international graduate students to the University this summer to study business. Abhishek Dubey and Vipul Shasma said their experience has brought them a greater understanding of the American economy and culture. The duo will return to Varanasi, India with professional experience in analyzing sales and marketing.
“We're very glad to be here at Claflin University as students, ” said Dubey.
“I love the way Claflin prepared us as students, ” said Shasma. “The classes were very interactive.
Last summer, the exchange partnership began with four Master of Business Administration students coming to Claflin. Then, Claflin Master of Business Administration Director Dr. Benjamin Yumol along with four MBA students visited SMS and other Indian locales this past fall.
